Even More

Today was day 2 of VBS, and to our surprise we had even more kids. Forty additional kids showed up today, for a total of 170 kids. The additional kids added a little more chaos because we don´t have all that much space in the church. We don´t have enough chairs for everybody which proves to be a nuisance, but we still managed. The kids really seem to be drawn to us, which is truly a blessing. So far the weather has been really mild. It hasn´t been over about 85 degrees and we´ve had rain at some point every day. So much for our tans!

After VBS we went out to lunch with Pastor Monrique and his family. They have been so great to us. We really enjoy spending time with them and their hospitality is uncanny.

We are off to our evangalistic service again tonight, except to a different town.

Hopefully we will update later tonight.

Hi Nick. Sounds like you guys have your hands full, but in a very good way. 170 kids, that's amazing. I'm predicting you'll have 200 tomorrow. Pastor Monrique and everyone in his church must be very excited. Please tell them we're excited for them. Get plenty of rest you guys! Sounds like you're going to need it. Hope the service went well this evening. Keep going you guys!!! You're doing an amazing job! Take care.
P.S. The Twins lost again tonight. They were ahead 5 - 2 in the 8th and Sox scored 4, and won 6 - 5.

Great news! So many lives are being touched and we are so happy that God is using you in such tremendous ways. We pray that God will work out all the details and decisions will be made for Christ. Jackie's soccer team won last night and Tony's baseball team won last night. I am driving your car all over the place and putting my own special touch on the inside of your clean car (it is messy now!) Take care.

Hi Nick. I'm sure you guys had another adventurous day! We are praying for you guys and thinking about you throughout the day. We're excited to hear more news about VBS and all that God is doing while you guys are there. Keep up your strength! Wednesday is usually a tiring day. But there will be newfound energy tomorrow. Take care.
